Caring for our world in Yamparaez

Pierre tells his story
Children in our library in Yamparaez were treated to a special visitor on Wednesday 21st of March 2015, when volunteer and storyteller Pierre from France came in to read them a story with an important message about the environment.
The children learned all about the importance of caring for the world around us, as well as how they can help by sharing what they have learned with their friends, family and everyone to ensure that we protect the environment for generations to come!
Following the story telling, the children had the chance to expend a bit of energy with our newest volunteers, Helen and Neil from the UK, who are doing a fantastic job of teaching them English through play and activities.
We are looking forward to Pierre returning to share his story with even more of the children in our libraries!
