BiblioWorks inaugurated its 10th library in the small community of Maragua in April 2013. The town is set in a beautiful crater-like geological formation, one of the most popular tourist attractions of the Sucre area.

Biblioteca 9 de Abril opened as the result of collaboration with the Polish organization Early Stage and Sucre-based nonprofit Condortrekkers. Condortrekkers, whose proceeds benefit local communities, often leads tours to see Maragua and nearby dinosaur footprints and rock paintings.
